Founded in 2015, Akona Concepts specialises in the consultancy, recruitment and operational deployment of personnel in multiple areas of the railway industry. Our services are aimed at providing industry professionals through to full delivery teams specialising in engineering, construction, technical and safety critical backgrounds. With the support of the wider Akona group this allows for continuous professional development and support to both our people and clients.

Akona Concepts were engaged by Story Contracting under an NEC3 contract to deliver the full Overhead Line Equipment (OLE) scope for the River Trent Viaduct project. This formed part of the wider North West & Central CP7 civil engineering and building works, where Story Contracting has been appointed by Network Rail.
